The people behind Directionlessgov.com (and the No10 e-petitions that everyone has heard of) have a new innovation.
At Mysociety's neighbourhoodfixit.com you can enter your postcode and enter details of whatever problem - which is then reported directly to the council responsible.
I've not tried it. It will be interesting to see if it works (and if the councils work).
Hopefully there will be monitoring of response rates as Mysociety did earlier with writetothem.com
